We recently completed a beautiful garden room project in Ipswich, and we’re really proud of how it turned out. Designed to be a quiet, cosy retreat from the main house, this garden room is a great example of how a well-planned outdoor space can completely transform how you use your home.

The clients were looking for something modern, low-maintenance, and full of natural light – and we knew straight away that white Hardie®Plank cladding would be a perfect fit. It has a crisp, clean finish that works beautifully with garden surroundings, and it’s incredibly durable, standing up to weather, moisture, and even pests.

The room itself is a compact 4.0 m x 2.5 m, making it ideal for use as a small lounge, reading nook, or even a work-from-home space. We installed large sliding patio doors across the front, along with a fixed picture window on the side wall to maximise light throughout the day.

Despite the tailored design and high-quality finish, the full build only took 9 days from start to finish – with just 8 days on site. That’s one of the big advantages of working with a specialist garden room team like us: we keep the process smooth, efficient, and stress-free.
