There’s something incredibly satisfying about a space that just belongs — and this recently completed Cedar Room project is a perfect example of that.

From the start, our customer wanted more than just a functional garden room. They were after something that felt like a true extension of their home and garden — a space that looked like it had always been part of the landscape.

So we set out to design and build a Cedar Room that would do just that: sit naturally within the garden, complement the surroundings, and feel like a peaceful retreat just steps from the house.

The key was in the details. We used natural timber cladding that will weather beautifully over time, softening into the colours of the garden. The shape and scale of the structure were carefully considered to avoid overwhelming the space, and we positioned the building to nestle into the landscape, surrounded by greenery on all sides.

Large, glazed doors not only bring in plenty of light but also offer uninterrupted views of the garden, blurring the line between indoors and out. It feels like you’re sitting in nature — even when you’re inside.

Whether used as a workspace, creative studio, or a place to unwind, this garden room proves that functional buildings can still feel organic and in harmony with their setting.

This is what we love most about what we do — helping people create spaces that are not only useful but also beautiful, personal, and built to last.
